They got off to a fast start forcing Ryan Grant in two fumbles in the first couple of minutes of the game. The Seahawks jumped all over the opportunity scoring two straight touchdowns to go up 14-0 early in Lambeau Field. Uh-oh, could the Seahawks come into Lambeau and beat the favored Packers? Could they possibly pull off the big upset…..?…… No.
Brett Favre and Ryan Grant weren’t intimidated whatsoever. They went off to score 5 straight touchdowns. Ouch. Ryan Grant made up for his early mistakes by gaining 201 yards are the ground and accounting for 3 touchdowns. Not a bad way to respond.
Ryan Grant’s day not only gave him some confidence after starting the game out horribly but his 201 yards and 3 touchdowns are all franchise playoff records. Not bad for you first playoff game eh? This production helped them pull off an offensive avalanche that was comparable to the avalanche of snow that was coming down by the end of the game. It got really bad towards the end which worked in their favor being up so big because Seattle couldn’t really get the passing game going and their running game was stifled as well.
