The Rockets 20th straight win was one of their ugliest wins of the season, nevertheless it is still a win. The Rockets had one of their worse first half performances of the season in this one scoring only 32 points in the first half.
Tracy McGrady played like a star in the second half, scoring 21 points with 5 of them coming in a key 10-0 run with 5 minutes remaining to give the Rockets the 83-75 win over the Hawks.
Thats 20 and counting…
Hornets 100 - Spurs 75
David West has missed the last 3 games with a sore ankle but he was ready to go in this one and he showed it, scoring 29 points and pulling down 10 boards. Chris Paul also came out ready to go in this one scoring 26 and dishing out 17 dimes. Not a bad game for the Hornets two all stars. They led the way for the Hornets as they got the convincing 100-75 win over the Spurs.
This was a milestone game for Bruce Bowen. This was his 500th consecutive start which is the longest streak going in the NBA. You’d think that by now the refs would realize that this guy is a dirty player but somehow he still manages to get away with dirty plays like this one on Chris Paul.
Knicks 91 - Heat 88
Yesterday was the one year anniversary of Isiah Thomas getting a contract extension because according to the owner James Dolan, the team had shown evident progress. The team is 23-61 since then…. What had happened was…. uhhh..
Anyway, the Knicks managed to almost blow a 14 point lead last night in the fourth quarter but Jamal Crawford ended a late Miami Heat run to stop their run and lock the Knicks in for the 91-88 win.
