Wade Korpi hit in head by pitch: 100 MPH baseball right to the head… Ouch

This is exactly why I never wanted to a be a pitcher.  There is a very low chance of this happening so I don't want to scare you young pitchers out there but if it does happen, I imagine that it would either hurt a lot or you would just die.

Either way  Wade Korpi, who is a pitcher Notre Dame, was hit in the head with a line drive off the bat of a Rutgers player.  The ball was clocked at 100 MPH.  This is why batters have batter helmets but oh yeah, he's the pitcher, sucks to be you.
