Sam Keller probably won’t get drafted, but his girl is hot

keller4.jpg

Thanks to the perenial hornballs over at busted coverage, some pics of Nebraska QB Sam Keller are now on the internet.

Now Sam Keller probably won't be drafted this weekend but his girl Casey Connelly should make sure that this weekend isn't all bad. If not her than maybe she has some friends.

Arod = A daddy x2

arod_ababy.jpgAlex Rodriguez's wife Cynthia Rodriguez gave birth to their second daughter late on Monday in Miami. The couple announced it on their website yesterday:

"We are thrilled with the birth of our second child and the blessing of having two healthy, beautiful children in our family," said A-Rod, who flew from New York to Miami to be with his wife.

Rodriguez said his newborn, whose name was not immediately released, weighed in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces.
The 32-year-old proud papa was at his wife's bedside and is expected to miss a few games while he's changing diapers instead of batting cleanup.

Now if only he could have a boy then the name would go on, future softball players everywhere better beware.

Redskins make an offer for Chad Johnson, its not good enough though

chadjohnsondealrejected.jpgApparently the Bengals aren't playing when they say that they do not want to trade Chad Johnson, even if that means turning down a really good deal.

The Bengals Coach Marvin Lewis held a news conference tuesday and confirmed that the deal from the Redskins was turned down. This deal would've potentially gotten them two first round picks:

The Redskins offered their first-round pick, No. 21 overall, and a conditional third-rounder in 2009 that could escalate to a first-rounder if Johnson and the Redskins hit certain performance levels, the sources said.

It was not the first time the Redskins approached the Bengals about a deal, but it was the first significant proposal.

Lewis says the disgruntled receiver who wants out of Cincinnati should keep his word and sit out the season.

"I've stated our case with Chad," Lewis said. "He has a contract through 2011. He's stated without an opportunity to go to a different team and a new contract, he wasn't going to play. I think he's a man of his word and says he's not going to play, so don't play."

Chad will be playing somewhere next year. If he were to sit out, that would be just silly.

Bucks save Skiles from going to the Knicks

skiles-bucks.jpg

The Bucks didn't waste anytime scooping up their new head coach. Yesterday they signed Scott Skiles to a four year deal and announced him as the coach at a press conference. After being fired from Chicago back in December and the recent departure of Isiah Thomas in New York, Skiles was said to be a potential Coach of the Knicks. I knew he's a little more at ease now.

Jesus doing Gymnastics?

Jesus in gymnast pants? Doing gymnast things? I wonder if I will go to hell if I laugh at this.

Brendan Haywood clobbers LeBron James

Brendan Haywood got a flagrant 2 and was ejected in last nights Wizards-Cavs game. The play reminded me a of a wide receiver going out for a pass and a DB knocking him out of midair. It's basketball though.

Obama, Clinton and McCain on WWE Raw?? Your kidding right?

Ok so whats the only thing worse than a boxer turning WWE wrestler? Presidential candidates acting like wrestlers. Trying to use their punch lines and whatnot. They should've actually gotten in the ring, it would've been more interesting.

It seems like that was a big waste of time. Everyone knows that wrestling fans don't vote... All they do is sit around on the couch, eating massive amounts of chips, and sweat while they breathe. Oh, unless those wrestling fans are reading my blog, y'all are cool.
