Kobe will be named MVP, it’s about time

The LA times is reporting that Kobe Bryant will be named as the leagues MVP next week. I am not a Kobe Bryant fan (not a hater either) but I do consider him the best player in the league (along with most people outside of Cleveland). It’s about time that he gets the award and this year he deserves as much as any year because he led the Lakers to the best record in the tough Western conference.

This season started off kind of rocky for Kobe with all the trade talks. The emergence of Andrew Bynum as a potential new star and the trade for Pau Gasol helped the team out a lot but theres no way the Lakers would be where they are now without the help of their late game assassin Kobe.
