Forget the baby… This guys catchin the ball

During the Mets and Dodgers showdown yesterday, the Mets were all over them winning 12-1.  During that shallacking there was a home run hit into the stands and one of the candidates for worst parent of the year caught it.

Now I understand that the chance to catch a ball at the ballgame doesn’t come that often but this guy was holding his kid with one arm, it didn’t look that secure.  He looked determined to catch that ball, no matter what, even if that meant dropping his kid in the process.  Excellent parenting.  This is almost as bad as the tipsy baby from earlier in the week.
