Wes Welker feels that Asante Samuel chose money over winning

Eagles CB specialist Asante Samuel spent his first 5 years in the league with the powerhouse New England Patriots. He won two Super Bowls with the squad and lost a third one, which they would’ve won by the way if he had made this play.
So anyway, after they lost, Asante went on to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles in March and went on to say “I just want to be able to win and get back to the Super Bowl.” Wait that doesn’t make much sense, you go from a team that just came one game short of going undefeated to a team that didn’t make the playoffs and you expect to get back? Wouldn’t it be smarter to stick with the Patriots?
Well his former teammate Wes Welker certainly thinks so…
“Asante’s a great player, so it hurts not to have a guy like that. But then again, it’s part of the business of the game,” Welker said. “He chose money over championships, and that’s the way it goes sometimes.”
Honestly though Wes is just hating. I mean of course he left because of money… Duh!!! Everyone knows that but fuck it. Your career doesn’t last forever, I say go get your money.
