Baron Davis and Elton Brand opt out…. Whats next?

Well I have to admit, I didn’t see this one coming. Two NBA stars opted out of their contracts with their current teams to test the completely broke market. Baron Davis left 17.8 million on the table to become a free agent and Elton Brand left $16 million on the table. These are two franchise players that anyone would love to have on their team but who can afford them?
Man, and I really liked Baron Davis at Golden St. He should still try to resign with them if they give him a better offer, he really doesn’t have a lot of other options.
Elton Brand on the other hand, I could see ending up in Philly where they have an open slot at the four spot and could use a player of his talent level.
