Elton Brand signs with the 76ers: I bet Baron Davis feels like a Jackass

Part of the reason why Baron Davis just suddenly left the Golden State Warriors for a Clippers team that has long been known as the "other" team in LA, was so that he would be able to play with one of the best big men in the game, in Elton Brand.

Oops.

Yesterday, Elton Brand verbally agreed to a contract with the 76ers worth about $85 million for five seasons, despite the fact that he said in the past that he would resign with the Clippers. His pairing with Baron Davis would've made a tough matchup for any team but now he will be in the East where they lack big men so he should be able to push a lot of guys around out there.
