How to and How NOT to catch a batting practice pitch

Ok kiddies have a seat.  Today's lesson is on catching a baseball at MLB batting practice.  If you can do it, you will get cheers from the crowd as well as thumbs up from players who are closeby.

Here is an example of how to catch the baseball.

Pretty cool right? One major thing you should notice is that he HAS a glove. That is always helpful.

Here is an example of how NOT to catch the baseball.

Notice one major thing? Riiiiggghhhtttt he has no glove. No glove = Black eye and any nearby females getting as far away from you as possible.

So what have we learned? Always bring a glove!!
