This was one the best Olympics in recent memory. Lots of memorable and historical moments.

None may have been more memorable than this video, however you may not have seen this because China was known for only showing what would make them look the best.

This performance will go down in the annals of Olympic history.

The Yankees and Red Sox finished what will be their last series at the storied Yankee stadium yesterday. They will be playing at a new Yankee stadium next season.

The final game wasn’t without drama though.

Besides what happened on the field there was a rowdy Red Sox fan who didn’t seem to like the treatment she got from the NYPD.

Barack Obama has a good chance of winning the Presidential nomination this year and with his campaign in full swing, we figured we would continue with the outpouring of blogger support for him.

Here’s a pic I found over at Mr. Irrelevant in which a DC fan rocks an Obama “08″ Jersey. Nice.

Wonder why he put the whole name on there though, the only sport I’ve ever seen that in was college basketball. What would people confuse the Obama name for a real Skins player? Doubt it.

It’s interesting because this has been one of my biggest months ever here at sportfiends but it has also been one of my most inconsistent. I’ve been going through a lot of trials and tribulations lately plus I just got Madden ‘09 so I’ve been a bit distracted. More important than that, I may not have a place to live soon so we’ll see how it turns out.

Fuck it though, I’ve missed my last day on this. I promise my readers more consistency. I will not miss a day from now to 8/29/09.

Heres a hilarious video that a reader emailed in to me.

It is a cross promotion between some event going on in WWE (I still call it WWF) and the US Open. Both are equally boring but if you combine the two, it’s strangely intriguing.

I can just see it now. John McEnroe is in a close match with Björn Borg and Macs hits a ball that is right on the line. The ref calls it out.

Johnny Mac isn’t feelin the call so he runs to the refs chair like he’s about to lose it and the Undertaker just gives him one of those looks he does like this.

Then John shuts the fuck up and quietly goes back to playing tennis.

Ok so I guess we have a new sporting female to ogle at.

Her name is Leryn Franco and shes a 26-year-old Paraguayan javelin thrower. She also happens to be a model.

She’s got that exotic look that I love and her body is mean. She can play with my javelin anytime.

Here is a crazy video of some kids who are extremely bored with life, finding ways to one up jackass. They try to do what looks like it’s going to be a skating stunt but with fire involved.
