Ryan Perrilloux is done at LSU. He was kicked off of LSU today by Coach Les Miles for an undisclosed reason but it was probably just that the coach was fed up with him.

Perrilloux has been suspended three times since joining the Tigers. He was caught trying to enter a Baton Rouge casino with a fake ID which was followed up by a federal investigation into a possible counterfeiting scandal. Perrilloux was never formally charged and returned to the team. Several days before LSU traveled to Tuscaloosa to face their former coach, Nick Saban, and Alabama, Perrilloux was suspended for an apparent night club fight just off the LSU campus. Perrilloux was again cleared of any wrongdoing, but was not allowed to travel with the team to Tuscaloosa. The most recent suspension came after another disturbance involving Perrilloux at a Baton Rouge restaurant. It appeared Perrilloux finally left the restaurant after management threatened to call the police. Perrilloux rejoined the team less than one month ago, but was still thought to be in Les Miles’ dog house until he fulfilled some requirements. It appeared he did not fulfill those requirements, leading to his dismissal.

Perrilloux was supposed to be this teams next JaMarcus Russell but obviously that didn’t work out. Now the Tigers will look at Andrew Hatch, Junior that transfered from Harvard, and Jarrett Lee, a red shirt Freshmen from Texas.

Sam Keller probably won’t get drafted, but his girl is hot

Thanks to the perenial hornballs over at busted coverage, some pics of Nebraska QB Sam Keller are now on the internet.

Now Sam Keller probably won’t be drafted this weekend but his girl Casey Connelly should make sure that this weekend isn’t all bad. If not her than maybe she has some friends.

Ralphie V’s Crazy Run: Ralphie almost got away

During CU’s Spring Game, Ralphie V (CU’s mascot) outruns 3 handlers, plows over another, and tries to get away.  This should spell a good season for CU football.

Michael Beasley headed to the NBA: No!! Really?!?!

beasley-nba.jpgSo it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that the Kansas State monster freshman Michael Beasley announced today that he will be going to the NBA. If it wasn’t for the rule requiring players to wait at least one year after High School to join the league, he would already be there.

Throughout the whole season, Beasley seemed liked the player most ready to be in the league. Beasley avereaged 26.2 points and 12.4 rebounds this season and lead the Kansas st Wildcats to their first tournament win in 20 years. He also had the second-most rebounds and third-most points of any freshman in NCAA history. Pretty good resume.

The 6-10 Forward will most likely go first in the draft and should make a pretty good impact no matter what team he joins.

Lady Vols win the 2008 NCAA Womens Tournament

The Lady Vols won their second consecutive NCAA championship last night with their 64-48 win over Stanford.  The game wasn’t even close.

The Lady Vols forced 25 turnovers and were all over the court.  Candace Parker wasn’t hindered by the her shoulder injury.  She finished this one with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals.

This is the Lady Vols 8th championship since Pat Summit has been their coach.  Thats not too shabby.

Wade Korpi hit in head by pitch: 100 MPH baseball right to the head… Ouch

This is exactly why I never wanted to a be a pitcher.  There is a very low chance of this happening so I don’t want to scare you young pitchers out there but if it does happen, I imagine that it would either hurt a lot or you would just die.

Either way  Wade Korpi, who is a pitcher Notre Dame, was hit in the head with a line drive off the bat of a Rutgers player.  The ball was clocked at 100 MPH.  This is why batters have batter helmets but oh yeah, he’s the pitcher, sucks to be you.
