As if Roger Clemens didn’t have enough on his plate right now, what with the whole Mitchell Report thing and the trial, we have some more shocking news about the former icon.

According to the NY daily news, Mr. Clemens had a 10 year affair with her starting from when she was 15 years old. So not only is Roger a druggie but hes also a child molester too?? And to think, this guy was once one of my heroes.

According to sources, Clemens was with his Red Sox teammates in a Fort Myers, Fla., bar when then-teenager McCready caught his eye. After Clemens threw a shirt with his and several teammates’ signatures onstage, an introduction was made.

“It was love at first sight, no doubt about it,” said a source with intimate knowledge of the relationship.

According to the source, McCready did not learn that Clemens was married to Debbie Clemens until McCready attended a baseball game with her two younger brothers and read Clemens’ bio in the program. The source says that McCready was too young to be angered by the news that Clemens was taken.

Have you ever seen someone fall so hard so fast, just a matter of months.

Joba Chamberlain tryin to get at Erin Andrews??

Ok so I don’t know if thats what he was actually doing but why else would he whisper in her ear? And her reaction is classic, she gives him the eye roll.

It’s probably because Joba just got back from being with his sick father, Erin talked to him and tried to console him and he was tryin to get the pussy. I guess he didn’t know if he would get another shot so he was just like “fuck it, ill go for it.” Can’t blame him for trying.

The Blue Jays released slumping slugger Frank Thomas over the weekend. Here is a snippet from The Star:

The veteran star, who was mired in an early season slump, will be paid the full remainder of what he’s owed on his $8 million (U.S.) 2008 salary. He is now free to sign with another team. Rumoured favourites to procure his services include Seattle, Tampa Bay and Oakland.

The Big Hurt’s hasty exit came roughly 24 hours after another closed-door tête à tête. That’s when the struggling designated hitter was told by manager John Gibbons he was being benched for the foreseeable future.

This season, Thomas was hitting .167 with three home runs, but he didn’t take kindly to it when word got out on Saturday that he was being benched.

“I’m angry. I know I can help this team. My career isn’t going to end like this,” Thomas said before Saturday’s game against the Tigers. He dared the team to cut him.

Many people are speculating that this means that the Blue Jays may have room for another aging slugger, Barry Bonds. Assuming that Bonds doesn’t go to jail, that may be a good fit for them to replace the minimal production that Frank Thomas provided.

Does Curt Schilling want out of Boston and in to New York?

Curt Schilling is probably going to be firing his shoulder surgeon soon.  On Monday the surgeon, Dr. Craig Morgan, was a guest on ESPN 950 with Mike Missanelli to talk about Schilling’s shoulders issues.  He talked about much more than that though.

Of course with him being a surgeon, he wants Curt to get ahead and get surgery done on his shoulder to repair it.  The Red Sox don’t want to go down that path with the 41 year old though.  The Red Sox would like Schil to simply rehab and deal with a few cortisone shots here and there instead of going surgical.

The Red Sox have the final say, so if Schil’s decides that he wants to go ahead and get the surgery, he wojuld be voiding his contract with the Red Sox.  Thats a $10 million dollar contract by the way.

According to the Surgeon, Curt isn’t feelin the Red Sox trying to control how he handles this.  He proceeded to drop this bomb:  “It’s entirely conceivable that he will have the operation, rehab, and pitch for the Yankees next year. That’s what he wants to do.”

Curt responded by saying that he had no idea that his surgeon was even going on the show, no less saying that he wanted to pitch for the hated Yankees.  He dismissed what the surgeon said.  Wise move, in Boston you’ll get lynched for saying things like that.

Alex Rodriguez mostly avoided talking about the whole situation with his contract negotiations in the offseason. For a while, it was all they talked about on ESPN.

First Alex Rodriguez and his agent Scott Boras opted out of the highest contract in MLB history, in what seemed like only an effort to get more money. Whats the difference between 275 million and 300 million anyway?

So Alex Rodriguez wasn’t havin it. His agent Scott Boras was pulling the strings and trying to get this ridiculous contract for his client but A-Rod chose to negotiate with the Yankees without him. Good move A-Rod.

Rodriguez learned his lesson the last time around when he was a free agent in 2000. He had offers coming from everywhere and he wanted to go play for the Mets but instead he was convinced by his agent that playing for the big money in Texas with the Rangers was the right move.

Rodriguez is very unhappy at his time in Texas and as a result he decided that he wasn’t going to make that decision again.

Maybe Alex Rodriguez isn’t the money grubbing superstar that can’t win anything like thought he was afterall, or maybe he is.

Ok so this is the top reason why I need to get out of the blog game and start pitching for the Red Sox or the Yankees. According to Barstool sports and the Howard Stern show, Boston pitcher Clay Buchholz is dating Penthouse Pet of the year Erica Ellyson.

According to With Leather, this has been confirmed by Buchholz’s dad. This is bullshit.

It’s common knowledge that pranks go down regularly in MLB clubhouses. Some people get hit harder than others.Yankees rookie Andrew Brackman has been getting hit pretty hard since he entered the Majors as their number 1 pick last year. His car is always vanishing from the parking lot. He decided to strike back and he got hit even harder.

He walked to his locker yesterday morning to find that all of his sliders, his baseball underwear, had been slit down the middle. Brackman’s Yankees cap and a lot of his shoes suffered the same fate. Owned.

“If you get hit by a veteran and fire back,” one Yankee insider noted, “they come at you 10 times harder.”

According to the Post, LaTroy Hawkins and Brian Bruney are behind the prank war against the rookie.  Bruney did a great job pranking the entire team last season by walking a batter every time he came into the game.
