The New York Daily News is reporting that Michael Strahan would return to the Giants for $8 million.

The team was only willing to pay Strahan $6.5 million in the spring, but it’s possible the season-ending injury to Osi Umenyiora might have the team willing to spend a bit more. Still, the team is reportedly content to move Mathias Kiwanuka back to defensive end. “I haven’t heard from anybody else, so to say if I would or wouldn’t is premature,” Strahan said, “so I’m enjoying my retired life right now.”

For the Giants this would be a good move.

They have lost a lot of players from their nasty defense from last year including their other all pro DE Osi Umenyiora who went down to an injury last Saturday in their preseason matchup against the Jets. Osi is gonna be out for the season.

So this would obviously be a good deal for them but what about Michael Strahan?

Well he probably doesn’t need the money. With endorsements and his new deal to be an analyst for FOX, he should be good for cash. He has his ring and his opportunity to ride out on top.

Why come back to play for a team thats getting worse NOT better and a team that will NOT be back in the Super Bowl and maybe might not even make the playoffs considering the very tough division they play in.

Naw.  If I was Stray I’d say thanks for all the good years but I’m chillin now.

There’s something about celebrities that makes normal people feel like they can do no wrong or at least that was the case before sites like Perez Hilton and Deadspin came out and started making them look stupid.

One example of that is Kanye West.

When you see things like that it makes you look at those celebs in a different light.

So what happens when the 21 year old Bow Wow goes up against the 33 year old Nelly?

Whenever a new Madden comes out, people always get all riled up talkin about whos better than who and whatnot. Usually it goes down to people just getting together and playing a game but when it’s celebrities who are talking about having a showdown on Madden, it gets on youtube.

Here are some videos I found of The Game and Bow Wow preparing for what looks like it will be a pretty good Madden Showdown. I must warn you guys though, there is foul language in all the videos so if your at work, it’s probably not a good idea to play these too loud.

First game came out and started talking smack about how good he is at Madden. His Xbox ID is L-A-X and at the time his record was 50-4, not bad.

Not to be outdone as the internets biggest youtube Madden-star, Bow Wow came at Game, claiming that he would win a game and he even offered to put 100k up.

Of course after Bow Wow disposed of his last youtube competition, he had to find bigger and badder fish to fry.

Game wasn’t tryin to hear though. He responded very quickly and wanted to up the ante.

Bow Wow talked smack right back!!!

Game came back again… Now I’m startin to see why people are complaining about youtube thugs so much.
