For the most part, preseason football is usually pretty boring.

With changes like Brett Favre to the Jets and Aaron Rodgers taking over in Green Bay, there has been a lot of buzz around this preseason though. Way moreso than usual.

There really hasn’t been too much talk about a lot of other teams but here’s a memorable play from this years preseason via the Cleveland Browns.

We all know that Chad Johnson is an unusual guy but even the weird ones can get weirder.

PFT is reporting that Chad Johnson is changing his name to Ocho Cinco, for real.

Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson was fined $5,000 for wearing “Ocho Cinco” on the back of his jersey before a game in 2006.

To avoid getting fined, Johnson hasn’t done it since then. But Johnson now has a plan for how he can get away with having “Ocho Cinco” spelled out over the “85″ on his back.

We’ve learned that Johnson has taken the first steps in the state of Florida toward legally changing his last name to Ocho Cinco.

This is one of those times when you just shake your head and wonder what is wrong with that guy, PFT did make a good point though, if he goes through with this his jersey sales will go through the roof.

Ok so I know this is old news now but I had a busy week last week so I’m catching up with everything now.

Last week Brett Favre was traded to the Jets for conditional draft picks.

ESPN - According to the NFL Network, if Favre takes 50 percent of total snaps with the Jets in 2008, the fourth-rounder becomes a third-round pick. If he gets 70 percent of the snaps and the Jets make the playoffs, it becomes a second-round pick; and if he gets 80 percent of snaps and the Jets make the Super Bowl, it becomes a first-round pick.

So is this a good deal or not for the Jets?

I guess it is for now. The Jets have made a lot of moves in the offseason that have made them a much better team but the top issue for them was who was going to be their QB.

Long time Jet Chad Pennington and youngster Kellen Clemens were in competition for the starting job but since the Jets acquired Brett Favre, they released Chad. That’s a sad for me because I was always a Pennington fan, despite all of the negative press he got for having a “weak” arm and to make matters worse, the Dolphins picked him up.

I am really worried that this will become a situation where Brett Favre will be like Michael Jordan on the Wizards or Joe Montana on the Chiefs.  In other words, an older player who is no longer relevant, playing on a team that he has no business on because he doesn’t want to retire yet and instead of helping his legacy, he only tarnishes it.

Only time will tell but my prediction is that the Jets will make the playoffs this year.  Although, I am a Jets fan so I say that every year.

It is an even year though, the last three seasons that have been even numbered years, they’ve made the playoffs.  So that’s a good sign.

The next few days are going to be hectic for me because I’m going to be moving from my apartment.

I’m gonna be moving in with my dad so we’ll see how it works out. Last time it didn’t work at well at all but I’m hoping it will be a little better for me this time or else I will end up moving back to New Jersey sooner than I expected.

I will be taking these days off to get my life together. Should be back either Friday or Saturday.

Some pics of the New York Knicks dancers came out last week and now they are preparing their dancing team for next year.

They have already filled up 16 spots and they are having a competition for the last spot on the squad. Fans will be allowed to vote on who they want to be the last dancer selected.

We all love and hate cheerleaders at the same time. Some more than others.

One thing we can all agree on is watching cheerleaders getting trampled never seems to get old.
