Superstar Swimmer Michael Phelps revealed this week that he eats a lot, like a whole lot.  12,000 Calories a day.  Thats like the equivalent of 6 grown men.  [NYP]

I’m admittedly not the biggest Olympics fan but if last nights swimming 400 freestyle relay is a preview of the rest of the Olympics, they may end up making me a follower.

The USA relay team was lead by superstar Michael Phelps, who is trying to set an Olympic record by winning 8 gold medals this year. In order to do that, he has to win gold in every single event he has entered.

Things didn’t look so good for him during last nights race though. Coming into the final turn, United States’ swimmer Jason Lezak was a full body length behind the strong French swimmer Alain Bernard.

He didn’t let that stop him from making one of the best comebacks in Olympic history.

Wow!!This is what it’s all about. To those of you who think that the Olympics suck (myself included), let this be a lesson to you that even swimming can be exciting.

So what is the best part about being in charge of the most powerful country in the world? It’s not the money or the fame that comes with being the President of the United States, it’s the fact that you get invited to places like the Olympics to check out the athletes.

George Bush made a trip to Beijing to attend some of the Olympic events last week. He was seen at the United States victory over China in basketball and also supported swimming star Michael Phelps.

No Olympic trip would be complete without checking out some of the beach volleyball players in bikini’s though. Here are some pics of the President doing just that. It looks like he approves.

X games can be dangerous. Everyone knows this. In order to even make it to the X-Games you pretty much have to have gone through your fair share of cuts and bruises but no one wants to see this.

Ok so I’m not embarrassed to say that I think Serena Williams may be a little bit too much woman for me. I like my women to be soft and feminine and no offense to Serena or anything but she doesn’t look soft or feminine. There’s too many better looking women out there and she looks like she would fuck me up once she caught me cheating. She’d get me in a headlock and it’d be a wrap.

Naw I’m good. You guys can have her and these pics of her in a nice top. I’ll take chicks like Selita Ebanks.

So Tony Stewart’s wildness was acceptable 5 years ago. Now it’s just startin to get kind of old.

Last Thursday, at O’Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis during a Midget race Tony kind of lost it.

He wasn’t happy about a decision the officials made about the USAC car that he owned and decided that it would be a good to harass them.

WTHR - Stewart marched into the pack of officials and became very upset. He snatched a headset off the head of one of the officials. As he walked away and the official replaced the headphones, Stewart returned and yanked them off again.

He was approached by another official as he walked further away and shoved him with two hands.

Ok so during a lackluster sports summer, things like the Tour de France get covered, even though nobody really cares about it much.Here is a pretty funny video of it though. This guy apparently didn’t see this very small sign in the middle of the road and as a result he hit it.
